Why Italy?
Italy is not only Europe's second-largest agricultural producer. It is also a country that has turned design and precision engineering into an art form over centuries.
In northern Italy, the Agrifood Valley - the corridor linking Parma, Emilia-Romagna, and Bologna - connects family farms with millennia of heritage to hubs for AI, loT, blockchain traceability, and much more. This is where major food companies and research centers are testing the future of food.
This ecosystem comes together in Rimini at the Ecomondo international trade fair, Europe's leading platform for the green economy, which welcomed 120,000 visitors and 1,500 exhibitors from 100 countries at its latest edition.
If you are an agrifoodtech startup, Italy is more than a market. It is the perfect laboratory for scaling up.
